About
History of the site
The grounds of the former German forced labour camp, and from 1944 the KL Plaszow concentration camp, remain one of the few well-preserved memorial landscapes in Europe. The Museum protects this area and tells the stories of those imprisoned here.
Respect and visiting rules
The entire area is a burial site. Please keep quiet and respectful, stay on marked paths, and refrain from recreation, picnics and souvenir photography within the former camp.
